Callum joined us to work on his English, he has had a lot of struggles with understanding in English but he managed to overcome his nerves and recently sat his GCSE and maintained a Grade 3.
Callum has worked hard to build his skills and knowledge and has now gained full time paid employment.
Callums Mum shared during his annual review that he has made immense progress in his maths. Before starting at CKW Academy he could not use money and hated anything to do with maths. Callum is making good progress with his maths, engaging and enjoying his maths lessons! His money management and budgeting skills development has blown Mum away. He can now go into a shop and pay with either money or his bank card independently with confidence.
Jack has worked incredibly hard and in such a short time achieved GCSE Grade 5 in both his Maths and English. Jack is immensely proud of his achievements. Staff attest this to his hard work and effort. |

Annie has passed her Level 2 Work Skills Certificate and has gained employment as a Carer. |

Melissa has progressed from Entry 3 to Level 2 in Maths and Work Skills, and has now gone onto a Vale College internship with the NHS. |
