    Good News Story – Lexie

    Lexie is a very quiet, shy individual who has embraced her time at Morthyng to overcome her own personal barriers not only to learning, but to life in general. Lexie has secured a part time job and this has had such a positive impact on all aspects of her life. She has now left Morthyng to pursue more hours

    Good News Story – Cleo

    Cleo has worked so hard to achieve her qualifications.

    She has particularly excelled in her level 2 Health and Social Care and gained her qualification ahead of time.

    She has also completed a level 2 WorkSkills certificate alongside.

    Cleo is a lovely, bubbly person who gets along well with everyone. She is popular with her peers and makes all new learners feel welcomed and included.

    Cleo has recently gained a place at Sunderland university to study Journalism.

    Good News Story – Grace

    Before coming to Morthyng, Grace had a history of poor attendance and engagement with educational settings. However she has done extremely well during her time at Morthyng, including achieving high levels of attendance. Grace was praised in her last review for her outstanding attendance record. Despite a blip in confidence, Grace is keen to prove to herself that she can do well with education and is showing this through her determination and resilience on programme so far.

    Good News Story – Maddy

    When Maddy first came to Morthyng, she could not even look at me in the interview and relied on mum to answer her questions. She was nervous about coming in and often sat at the back of the room so quiet and her head was down. In such a short space of time Maddy began to shine. She was confidently walking into lessons on her own, asking for help when she needed it and started engaging in conversations with peers forming friendships. Maddy is now in her second year at Morthyng and is continuing to thrive and progress. She has achieved;
